WAVELAND, Miss.–Man’s best friend was probably not how one dog-owner on the coast would describe his pitbull at the moment.
John Truitt told WLOX that his dog had never been aggressive but latched onto him and a struggle ensued for over 20 minutes.
Before police could get there the dog had to be killed and Truitt sent to the hospital.
The reports says that four other dogs were taken from his property that seemed to be under-fed drastically.
