JACKSON, MISS– Mississippi Top 50, the most influential people in the state, have been announced.
The list was officially released Wednesday, and included people from elected office, government relations, and business, culture, and media.
Democratic leader David Baria, Senate Appropriations Chair Buck Clarke, and Vicksburg Mayor George Flaggs were just a few to make the list in the government elected/appointed officials category.
In the lobbying/government relations category, Grant Callen of Empower Mississippi, Jay Moon of the Mississippi Manufacturers Association, and Bobby Moak of the Mississippi Democratic Party made the cut.
For the business, media and culture category, Paul Gallo and JT of SuperTalk Mississippi, along with Marshall Ramsey and Jason Dean of Tenax Aerospace were voted as some of the top influential in the state.

The Hall of Fame inductees will be announced at a dinner at Old Capitol Inn in Jackson on November 9.
