JACKSON, MISS– The next presidential debate is set for Sunday night at 8pm at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
According to the Commission on Presidential Debates, the second presidential matchup between Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democratic Candidate Hillary Clinton will take the form of a town meeting, in which half of the questions will be posed directly by citizen participants and the other half will be posed by the moderator based on topics of broad public interest as reflected in social media and other sources. The candidates will have two minutes to respond and there will be an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate further discussion. The town meeting participants will be uncommitted voters selected by the Gallup Organization.
The first presidential debate between the two candidates held plenty of heated moments, one of which sparked the concern over Trump’s tax returns, which would show him avoiding federal taxes and losing $6 billion dollars. After the tax returns.
The most recent Quinnipiac University poll showed Hillary Clinton with a five-point lead, with that boost coming mostly from women and non-white voters.
