JACKSON, MISS–If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, there’s plenty happening around the state.

We’ll first start out with the Hollandale Sam Chatmon Blues Festival. There you can expect to see bikers, barbecue, and of course the Blues. It’s a family friendly event and runs through Saturday.

If music isn’t your thing, and arts and crafts are more your style, then head on over to the Indian Bayou Arts Festival in Indianola. There you’ll see photography, jewelry, pottery, paintings, woodwork and fiber art. The free festival will also have live music, a dog show and children’s art activities.

And finally, if creepy things are just your thing and you get super jazzed for cemeteries, then mozy on over to the Rose Hill Cemetery’s costumed tour in Meridian. Local actors will dress up in period costume and tell the documented stories of the famous and infamous people buried in the grounds.
