MONTICELLO, MISS– A movie based on the Deepwater Horizon explosion is set to hit theaters later this month, but the star of the movie has not forgotten those who deal with the dangers of oil rig life on a daily basis.
Mark Wahlberg posted a Facebook video with the caption “Eric from Monticello, MS sent me his hardhat with a Deepwater Horizon Memorial sticker–I’m signing it for his man cave. He has 5 daughters!”
Wahlberg added that Eric is blessed, but jokingly added “but I feel for you all at the same time.”
Deepwater Horizon premiers Friday, September 30.
