CLEVELAND, OHIO— U.S. Senator Roger Wicker (R-Miss) took the stage at the Republican National Convention on Monday.
Senator Wicker addressed the convention about the future of the Republican party, as well as accomplishments throughout the year in the Senate.
“It’s an honor to be here at NRSC (National Republican Senatorial Committee) chairman,” said the Senator. “When we won the Senate majority, we went to work… in the first six months of this year, 31 senate bills have been signed into law.. that hasn’t happened since 1990. We’re running the sharpest campaign in history.”
Wicker also added that with eight years of the Obama administration, a change is needed for the nation.
“Hillary Clinton would just be four more years of the same tired policies,” said Wicker. “She also brings with her a dangerous record of national security and a lifetime of scandal and lies.”
