JACKSON, Miss. – A New York Photographer has filed a lawsuit against Universal Music Group and Mississippi native blues legendB.B. King’s estate for copyright infringement, reported the Washington Post.
Photographer Glen Craig said his pictures have been used without his permission for more than 40 years and cited more than 40 examples of the alleged unauthorized use of his photography.
Craig stated that some of his work is featured on several King albums.
News Mississippi contacted the B.B. King Museum in Indianola for comment, but the request was declined. A representative for the museum stated that to her knowledge, none of Craig’s work has been displayed.
