WAVELAND, Miss. – Police in Mississippi and across the country are on high alert following last weeks shooting in Dallas, which left 5 officers dead.
In Waveland Mississippi, the local police department has reported that their officers have received multiple threats with attacks possibly happening tonight, July 10.
They ask that the community be extra vigilant in helping their police department stay safe.
Extra officers will be on patrol in the city and all emergency services nearby, have been notified.
