Parts of Mississippi could experience severe storms ahead of a cold front Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening. According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, the area of concern is northwest of a diagonal line from Southwest Mississippi stretching to Northeast Mississippi and includes the Jackson area. Damaging winds and hail will be the main threats.
