The Southeastern Conference has announced the initial schedule for this summer’s football media days set to take place in Atlanta.
From July 14-17, coaches and players from all 16 member institutions will appear in front of media members as fans tune in for storylines, speeches, and more. The 2025 SEC Football Kickoff Media Days will be held inside the College Football Hall of Fame and Omni Hotel at Centennial Park for the second time in four years. Last year’s event was held in Dallas.

While a more detailed daily schedule with player representatives is to be released in the coming months, SEC officials announced Tuesday the days in which each school and its head coach will take the stage.
Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss will be featured on the opening day alongside LSU, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt. Mississippi State and second-year coach Jeff Lebby will be part of the preseason extravaganza’s third day with Alabama, Florida, and Oklahoma also included.

Just months into the current offseason, the headlines are already building up across the SEC for TV, radio, and print reporters to ask coaches about. From Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava leaving the program after a holdout over name, image, and likeness payment to more Georgia players getting arrested for reckless driving, the time off the gridiron has been nothing short of captivating.
For Mississippi’s two schools, which were on opposite sides of the standings a season ago, the talk is expected to revolve around how each program can take the next step. While Ole Miss is still in pursuit of its first-ever College Football Playoff appearance, Mississippi State is trying to snap one of its longest bowl droughts in recent memory.
The 2025 SEC Football Kickoff Media Days will be aired on SEC Network.
