A Mississippi woman is behind bars for allegedly helping rob multiple Walgreens stores in Tennessee.
According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, 25-year-old Nia Washington was questioned while in custody for unrelated charges. The Southaven native admitted to being the getaway driver in four armed robberies that took place in Memphis between December 11, 2024, and January 3, 2025.

While Washington is now charged with four counts of aggravated robbery, her partners in crime have not been arrested. Video footage from multiple Walgreens stores showed at least two masked men with guns holding up stores for money. Over $1,500 was stolen during the robbery spree.
Washington is booked at the Shelby County Jail. She is expected to appear in court Monday.
