A small airplane crashed at the Grenada Municipal Airport on Wednesday afternoon.
Officials are reporting no major injuries as a result of the crash. Grenada County Emergency Management Director Greg Whitehurst told WTVA that law enforcement was notified of the incident just after 2:30 p.m.
The pilot was reportedly attempting to land the plane, but the aircraft landed on its nose off the runway at the airport.
Four people were aboard the plane at the time of the crash. Only two are said to have been medically evaluated, but none are believed to have been severely harmed.
