The identities have been for the six victims who lost their lives during a rash of severe weather that battered Mississippi over the weekend.
Chris Blackwell, the Walthcall County coroner, reported that 7-year-old Carter Young, 42-year-old Jeffery Irvin, and 34-year-old Gabrielle Pierre were killed at a mobile home community in Darbun. Young was inside a mobile home that was destroyed, while Irvin and Pierre were inside the home next door.

In Jefferson Davis County, coroner Dedra Johnson reported family members were killed in the Oak Vale-Society Hill area: 36-year-old Ryan Tolbird and his stepmother, 56-year-old Mary Suzette Tolbird.
In Covington County, officials reported 67-year-old James Lott was killed in Seminary.
Nearly 30 people in Mississippi were injured as 12 tornadoes have been confirmed to have crossed through portions of the state on Friday and Saturday, leaving 21 counties with damage. Other states in the South and Midwest saw similar and even worse tolls as at last 42 people are dead, with Missouri having the highest death count at 12.
