The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks has implemented a new state lake permit and fee structure.
These changes, which went into effect on Feb. 18, apply to fishing and boating at state fishing lakes and state park lakes. Changes to camping and pavilion rental fees have also taken effect.

The state’s wildlife, fisheries, and parks department operates 18 fishing lakes and 21 park lakes that offer fishing and boating opportunities for visitors. A list of state parks can be found here.
