Longtime SuperTalk Mississippi radio host Paul Gallo will be remembered during a celebration of life this Wednesday in Madison.
Gallo, a beloved personality who spent every weekday morning shining light on political issues and spotlighting human stories that defined the Magnolia State, passed away on Jan. 19. He was 77 years old.
To honor the legacy of Gallo, who was often referred to as “Mississippi’s Godfather of Talk Radio,” the public is invited to attend a celebration of life at Broadmoor Baptist Church. The event will begin at 2 p.m. and include music, speakers, and plenty of stories from Gallo’s five-decade career behind the microphone.
In lieu of flowers, the family is encouraging donations to Palmer Home for Children. Gallo helped raise over $2.7 million for the local nonprofit during SuperTalk Mississippi Media’s annual radiothon.
