The former leader of the Attala County School District has been indicted in connection with the killing of his wife, according to a report from Breezy News.
49-year-old Bryan Weaver was indicted by a grand jury and was subsequently arrested Wednesday on the charge of first-degree murder in connection with the death of his wife Tracy Weaver, who was 46 at the time of her passing.
Tracy was shot and killed inside the couple’s home on August 28, 2023. An investigation initially labeled the incident an accident, but after her body was autopsied at an Arkansas lab and a grand jury was presented evidence, the criminal indictment was handed down.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and Attala County deputies partnered in the investigation.
Bryan’s bond was set at $200,000 after being transported to the Leake County Correctional Facility.
