A woman was found beaten to death at a capital city hotel earlier this week.
Jackson police responded to the 500 block of E. Beasley Road, where the OYO Townhouse is located, on Tuesday to investigate an apparent homicide that took place. Authorities discovered that an unidentified female had been assaulted at the hotel. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
The victim’s identity is being withheld until her next of kin is notified. At this time, no arrests have been made. Police have not released any additional information about a possible suspect.
