Another season of packed crowds will descend upon Pete Taylor Park to watch Southern Miss baseball this season.
If you’re looking for a season ticket to see the Golden Eagles play, you’re out of luck. Mississippi’s prestige as a baseball state is on display again as all three of its major programs are preparing to welcome record masses of fans for another campaign.
It’s more of the same in the Magnolia State. 2024 attendance data from the NCAA says Southern Miss ranked No. 9 among all Division I programs in home attendance at 5,317 per ballgame. Meanwhile, Mississippi State led all programs at 10,903 fans per contest at Polk-Dement Stadium, with Ole Miss coming in at No. 4 nationally with an average of 9,628 spectators at Oxford-University Stadium each game.

The sellout of season tickets for Southern Miss also includes a program-record number of standing-room-only season passes.
“This record-setting number of season tickets purchased by Southern Miss baseball fans continues to show unmatched dedication to this program,” Southern Miss Director of Athletics Jeremy McClain said. “This support drives our success and keeps the magic at Pete Taylor Park alive.”
For those who didn’t quite make the cut for season tickets, limited single-game tickets will be available. Passes for individual contests will be made available for purchase by the public on Monday, February 3, at 10 a.m.
Golden Eagle fans who hope to get a season ticket for future seasons can join a waitlist, where they will get priority when slots are opened again.
Southern Miss will open the 2025 season against Lafayette College, starting a four-game series against the Leopards on February 14 at 4 p.m.
