Legendary country musician and entertainment mainstay Willie Nelson is bringing his act to the Magnolia State this spring.
Willie Nelson & Family, the hall of fame troubadour’s touring act, will first headline a show at Brandon Amphitheater on April 10, the venue announced Tuesday. It will be a return trip, as Nelson graced the same Rankin County stage in 2023 as the lead act for the Outlaw Musical Festival.
Tickets for the Brandon show are set to go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. as a start time for the concert has not yet been announced.
Five days later, Nelson will take his act to The Sound Amphitheatre in Gautier. Doors are slated to open at 5:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m.
Shotgun Willie is making the two Mississippi shows some of the last stops on his upcoming tour, promoting his most recent album entitled Last Leaf on the Tree. His career stretches across numerous different musical eras, nearly seven decades in total, and includes 25 Billboard Top 10 hits and 76 solo studio albums.
