Jackson, Miss— Due to flooding, Interstate 59 and Interstate 10 in south Louisiana and Mississippi may close today.IF these interstates do close, traffic will be incredibly congested. Plan now for this closure, in the event that it does happen.
This particularly impacts Interstate 59 at the Louisiana state line and Interstate 10 in Hancock County. The signs and MDOT crews are in place in the event that the closure has to happen.
