America’s top car show will get started this weekend with a brand-new kickoff concert featuring Chapel Hart and other music acts.
The 28th annual Cruisin’ the Coast will begin with the inaugural “Grand Slam Jam” on Saturday at Keesler Federal Park in Biloxi. Chapel Hart, the country music trio from Poplarville that rose to fame through America’s Got Talent, will headline a lineup that also includes Tab Benoit, Amanda Shaw, Taj Farrant, Rockin’ Dopsie Jr., Bonerama, and Leilani Kilgore.
“We’ve got a lot going on. We’re even starting a day early this year. This Saturday at the Shuckers’ stadium, we’ve got the Grand Slam Jam with a lot of great acts,” Cruisin’ the Coast executive director Woody Bailey said. “That’s really kicking a lot of things off since a lot of people will be in town already.”
Gates to the ballpark will open at noon with the concerts lasting from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here. With two stages set up in the outfield, the times for each concert are as follows:
