Your Mississippi forecast for Thursday, September 26

It’s looking like another day of some sunshine and possibly some rain across Mississippi. Here’s your statewide forecast from the National Weather Service.

Northern Mississippi

Forecasted to be a mostly sunny day, the northern part of the state could see isolated showers in the afternoon and into the evening. Temperatures will be in the lower 80s before dropping to the lower 60s at night.

Central Mississippi

The sunshine should find its way out from behind the clouds in the central part of the state, with a chance of isolated showers returning in the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 80s with lows in the lower 60s. Scattered showers are also possible after sunset.

Southern Mississippi

A partly sunny day with isolated showers expected at times, the southern part of the state will see highs in the mid-80s and lows in the mid-60s. Rain is also possible in the evening going into the night.
