A teenager is reported to have been found dead in the Homochitto River over the weekend.
On Sunday, officials recovered the body around 7 p.m. According to Adams County Emergency Management Director Robert Bradford, the individual was identified as 19-year-old Jose Luis Galindo, a native of Honduras.
While details surrounding Galindo’s death are slim, authorities are ruling his passing an accidental drowning. No foul play is suspected.
