Police along the Mississippi Gulf Coast are investigating after a child was killed during an accidental shooting.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, the shooting occurred at a family home on Kevin Drive in the Helena community early Monday morning. The 12-year-old boy was shot but no details have been released as to if it was self-inflicted or if another person was involved.
