Four people have been charged in connection to contraband being brought into the Kemper-Neshoba Regional Correctional Facility.
The arrests of Anthony Frymire, Allison Harris, Marcus Anderson, and Amanda Cox were announced on Sunday by Kemper County Sheriff James Moore. Moore added that more arrests are possible as the investigation continues.
Frymire, an inmate, allegedly contacted his girlfriend, Harris, to conduct a scheme to bring contraband into the facility. Harris is said to have conspired with Anderson to get illicit drugs such as marijuana and methamphetamine to Frymire and possibly other inmates. Cox was present and allegedly played a role in the scheme as well.
Frymire and Harris are each charged with two counts of introducing contraband into a correctional facility, conspiracy to commit a crime, and felony possession of a controlled substance. Anderson and Cox are charged with conspiracy to commit a crime and introducing contraband into a correctional facility.
Initial court appearances for all four are scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 13.
