Hard to believe today with temps in the 50’s and 60’s across the state that snow could become a factor by the end of the week.Rain is guaranteed for all of Mississippi today, 50’s for the highs in North Mississippi, mid and upper 60’s for the high central and south. Lows dipping into the 30’s statewide.
Storms are possible statewide between noon and 9pm from Greenwood down into Hattiesburg, from Vicksburg over to Meridian. You’re looking at high winds, hail, and tornadoes are possible. Flooding is possible there too.
But Friday you’re seeing cooler temps and a chance of snow. North of Greenwood has the best chance, with a possibility of some sticking up to an inch. Central and South, less likely. You’ll see some flurries in the morning but nothing will stick.
