A trio of suspects have been arrested and charged in connection to a drive-by shooting that injured four in Port Gibson.
The Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department said officers responded to a shooting on Northside Drive in late May. Police discovered that four men had been shot and their car had been hit by multiple bullets. The unidentified victims were transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson for treatment.
The investigation sparked by the shooting led to the arrests of Clydarrious Johnson, Jeremiah Jackson, and an unidentified juvenile. Each was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, drive-by shooting, possession of stolen firearms, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
Per a statement from the CCSD, more arrests and charges are expected as the investigation continues.
