Pearl River Resort in Philadelphia is gearing up to celebrate 30 years of operations with numerous festivities.
From the last weekend of June through the first weekend of July, the major celebration of the Neshoba County hotel and casino complex will be highlighted by music acts from big-name artists, a festive Independence Day fireworks show, and a lucrative promotion.

Concerts
- Brian McKnight — Saturday, June 29 at 8 p.m. — Known for his smooth, soulful sounds, Brian McKnight will perform hits like “Back at One,” “Anytime,” and “One Last Cry.”
- Boyz II Men — Friday, July 5th at 8 p.m. — The popular R&B group will bring chart-topping hits “End of the Road,” “On Bended Knee,” and “Motownphilly” to the stage.
- Big and Rich featuring Gretchen Wilson with Cowboy Troy — Saturday, July 6th at 8 p.m. — Featuring a mix of country and rock, hit songs by this dynamic duo, Big and Rich include “Save a Horse,” “Lost in This Moment,” and “Comin’ to Your City.” Gretchen Wilson rose to the country music scene for hits like “Redneck Woman” and “Here for the Party.”
The concerts will be held in the Silver Star Convention Center. Must be 21 years of age or older to attend. Tickets may be purchased here.
Free gifts
On Wednesday, July 3, from noon until 4 p.m., guests may visit the Players Club at Silver Star Casino to receive a free 30th Anniversary t-shirt while supplies last.
Fourth of July fireworks
On Thursday, July 4 at 9 p.m., Pearl River Resort will light up the sky with a fireworks show packed with family-friendly activities.
30th-anniversary promotion
With the 30th anniversary promotion, guests will have a chance to win a share of $30,000 in cash and bonus bet prizes. The promotion will take place on Friday, July 5, and Saturday, July 6, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. each night.
