According to Jon Rothstein of College Hoops Today, Beard’s extension which was signed Wednesday would keep him in Oxford through the 2029-30 season.

At this time, we still have no monetary numbers for the extension. Going into year one, Beard signed a four-year deal and was scheduled to make $3.35 million next season. Though Mississippi state law limits state employees to four-year contracts, universities have oft-used workarounds through athletic foundations to lock coaches down for longer.
In his first year at the helm, Beard’s squad matched a program record with a 13-game winning streak to start the season. The gauntlet of SEC play then caught up with the Rebels, who still finished with their first 20-win season in five years.
“We are just getting started. Great times ahead in the SJB Pavilion and Oxford,” Beard said in a statement.
Ole Miss begins the SEC Tournament as a 10 seed on Thursday and will face 7th-seeded Texas A&M on Thursday at 6 p.m. CT in Nashville, Tenn. The Rebels would essentially need to win the entire tournament to make it back to the Big Dance for the first time since 2019.
