A man is in custody after allegedly beating a person to death in Jackson.
34-year-old Justin Jones was arrested and is facing murder charges after authorities found an unidentified individual deceased at the 2000 block of Courtview Street.
Police report that the victim had been brutally beaten and was pronounced dead at the scene.
