JACKSON, Miss.–A Jackson man is now looking at the possibility of life in prison after a Thursday court hearing.
Jeremy Hodges, 26-years-old, plead guilty to human trafficking of a child and producing child pornography in court according to the U.S. Attorney’s office in Jackson.
“He admitted that he traveled to Mississippi with the intention of having sex with a child under the age of 10-years-old,” said Greg Davis spokesman from the U.S. Attorney’s office.
Hodges has been living in Cambridge, Mass. lately and according to Davis he and another man traveled to Memphis to get the child before driving down to Jackson.
“He also produced videos of himself engaging in sexually explicit conduct with that child,” said Davis.
The details as to how he obtained the child are not being released right now because the investigation is still ongoing.
Hodges faces 15 years to life for human trafficking of a child and the max penalty for producing child pornography is 30 years and a $250,000 fine.
