Officers with the Jackson Police Department have arrested two suspects following a fatal shooting that occurred outside of a hospital last month.
According to JPD officials, 29-year-old Deanna Bridges and 26-year-old Jaylein Wallace turned themselves in on Tuesday after being on the run for a mid-December shooting that took place at Merit Health Central on Chadwick Drive.
The shooting is reported to have taken the life of 25-year-old Elisha Bridges. Authorities say the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute between the three individuals.
Wallace is charged with aggravated assault and murder. He was previously charged with aggravated assault in 2020 for a shooting in Edwards before being taken into custody again for another shooting in March of 2021.
Meanwhile, Bridges is charged with hindering prosecution.
