3 charged, 1 wanted for contraband bust at Pike County Jail

Three have been charged and one is on the loose following a contraband bust at the Pike County Jail.

An investigation conducted by the Pike County Sheriff’s Office led to the discovery that Chasity Jordan had thrown electronic devices over the detention center’s fence for inmates Devonte Taylor and Nicholas Johnston.

Takela Quinn, a contracted employee with Summitt Foods, is also accused of being involved in the contraband smuggling operation.

Jordan is charged with furnishing unauthorized electronic devices to a prisoner and conspiracy to commit a crime. The two inmates are also charged with conspiracy to commit a crime.

An active felony warrant is out for Quinn. She is wanted for furnishing an unauthorized electric device to a prisoner.
