FOREST, Miss.- Koch Foods, a poultry processor announced that the company is expanding operations at its facilities in Forest and Morton.
The announcement was attended by Gov. Phil Bryant and other officials. Koch foods is a poultry processor that distributes fresh and frozen products internationally and to other private entities. The expansion will be an investment of around $2 million and $33 Million and will bring in around 203 jobs. Forest will acquire 23 positions and 180 will be at the Morton Location. Currently 3,200 people are employed by the company in Scott County.

Bryant said. “Mississippi strives to provide a business environment that fosters growth and longevity, and Koch Foods’ decision to further invest in these two locations reinforces that fact. I look forward to the company’s continued growth.”
Koch Foods has made some renovations to the Forest facility and is making addition to Morton. The Mississippi Development Authority gave added assistance to support the project for road improvements. Each city government and Scott County also provided assistance.
