A shooting at a Halloween party in Lincoln County left five injured on Saturday night.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a gunshot report at around 12:30 a.m. Upon arriving at the scene on Crump Lane in Brookhaven, officials found one person with a gunshot wound to their leg and one person who had been struck by a vehicle as partygoers attempted to flee.
Per a report from The Daily Leader, three others were injured in what could have been a domestic incident that turned violent. All five individuals were transported to King’s Daughters Medical Center, where four were treated and released. The person struck by a vehicle had to be taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
