The trend of firearms being brought to Mississippi schools continued with a Hancock High School student getting arrested for possessing a gun on campus.
WLOX reports that parents of students at the high school were informed Thursday morning via text message that an unidentified youth brought a handgun to campus after hours on Wednesday.
According to Hancock County Sheriff Ricky Adam, the firearm was reported to authorities after a social media post of the teen displaying the gun at school was noticed by others.
