The Mississippi Lottery’s last Summer of Fun drawing ended with a big win for a Jackson woman after she walked away with $10,000 and a 2023 Nissan Titan PRO-4X truck.
Cassandra Woods was named the first-place winner of the 15-week promotion, with 57 other Mississippi residents claiming other cash prizes between May 22 to August 28.
The second annual summer promotion garnered more than 140,000 entrants over the past three months, resulting in the Mississippi Lottery Corporation giving away more than half-a-million dollars in prizes.
The second prize totaled in at $8,000, while the third winner was given $4,000. The fourth prize was a Yeti Hopper cooler, which is valued at over $200.
Throughout 15 total drawings, the lottery game also awarded winners RecTeq pellet grills, an 18-foot party barge package, and a trailer from Performance Marine in Columbus.
All entries were accessed by players after scanning Summer of Fun QR codes at lottery play centers, lottery retailer in-store checkout screens, or in Mississippi Lottery commercials. Lottery Insiders then received access to a special entry link by email each week.
