Update: As of 6 p.m. Monday, Haylock had been taken into custody. He was arrested without incident at Martin Luther King Park on Highway 57 in Vancleave.
Law enforcement along the Mississippi Gulf Coast is searching for a man who allegedly killed his stepfather on Sunday afternoon.
Aaron Blake Haylock, 31, is believed to have shot Douglas Arguelles, 60, on Waltman Road in Vancleave before stealing Arguelles’ truck and fleeing. Arguelles was taken to a nearby hospital with severe injuries before dying.
Authorities later discovered the truck but not Haylock. Haylock is described as a 5’10” white male weighing 150 lbs. with green eyes and black hair.
