Tickets for Dolly Parton’s upcoming performances in Philadelphia will be available for purchase this week.
The “9 to 5” singer will be taking on the historic Ellis Theater inside Marty Stuart’s Congress of Country Music with two shows on Saturday, Aug. 26. According to a Facebook post, tickets for both shows will go live Tuesday, Aug. 8 at 9 a.m.
With Ellis Theater only seating 500, tickets are expected to go fast. Officials with the Congress of Country Music are encouraging fans to purchase tickets online, but if need be, they can buy them at the theater’s box office.
“However, tickets may be sold out and not available upon your arrival. We do encourage you to use the ticketing link for fastest access,” a portion of the Facebook post reads.
Parton will perform at both 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. with tickets ranging from $350 to $3,500. If you are unable to get tickets, there will be an outdoor viewing area at the theater with food and drink vendors. Admission will be $35.
All proceeds from the event will go to support Dolly’s Imagination Library and the Congress of Country Music.
