JACKSON, MISS– Central Mississippi news man Bert Case is making a little progress after weeks in the hospital fighting sepsis.
Case’s wife Mary says Case woke up and asked for her after being sedated for weeks. She says Case has also been able to answer questions from the nursing staff.
Case, 76, was rushed to the hospital three weeks ago when he was diagnosed with sepsis. His condition was critical during that time. His wife updates on Facebook that his system was recovering from the infection that took such a toll on his body.
