JACKSON, Miss. – A new country song has come out denouncing the Mississippi state flag.
Steve Earle & The Dukes have recorded a new single called, It’s time, Mississippi.
In it, the Virginia native uses lyrics implying the state can’t move forward if it keeps looking back, and how times have changed.
You may recall the that the confederate battle flag has been a hot button issue ever since 9 black people were killed at a Charleston south Carolina church.
