A suspect believed to be connected to a Biloxi shooting that left one dead and four others injured has been taken into custody.
Dontavis Magee was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Collins on Wednesday. Magee also has a warrant out for his arrest in Georgia for kidnapping and robbery.
On April 16 when thousands of spring breakers were gathered on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, a shooting took place near Surf Style on Highway 90. It was quickly revealed that at least five – including a police officer – had suffered gunshot wounds.
While the police officer is expected to make a full recovery, Biloxi Mayor Andrew “FoFo” Gilich recently confirmed to SuperTalk Mississippi that one of the other victims had succumbed to their injuries.
