MERIDIAN, Miss.–Trying to meet an underage girl for sex is the charge against Joshua Hearn, 27, of Meridian. Lauderdale County deputies said he was arrested as part of a sex crimes sting operation.
Investigators said they set up a Facebook page pretending to be a 14-year-old girl. Hearn contacted who he thought was the girl and asked her to meet him for sex.
When he got to the meeting spot, he was instead met by deputies who took him in. His bond was set at $50,000.
