A pair of SuperTalk Mississippi hosts have been recognized as two of the most influential leaders in the state.
Both Paul Gallo of The Gallo Show and Gerard Gibert of MidDays with Gerard Gibert were selected to this year’s Mississippi Top 50, an annual list of those who “exert the most influence on our statewide conversation” from the ranks of elected and appointed officials, economic development professionals, business, media, and government affairs.
This was Gallo’s third time earning the honor after he was named to the list in both 2016 and 2017.
“It is an honor to be included once again in such a prestigious award alongside incredible winners who represent the best that Mississippi has to offer,” Gallo said. “I want to thank the loyal listeners who have become my audience family for their support through the years. I encourage them to continue being the voices in their communities that truly keep Mississippi moving forward.”
Gibert, who joined SuperTalk Mississippi as a full-time show host in 2021, received the honor for the first time in his career.
“I’m deeply honored to be recognized as one of the top 50 most influential leaders in Mississippi,” Gibert said. “It is especially humbling to be included among this class of fellow honorees and amazing Mississippians, who share a common passion to continuously improve the quality of life in our state.”
Gallo and Gibert are the latest in a long list of SuperTalk Mississippi show hosts to be named to the Mississippi Top 50, joining Richard Cross (2022), Steve Azar (2018), and the late J.T. Williamson (2016).
