A Jackson teen is facing multiple felony charges for his involvement in several crimes.
Bond was denied for Montravious Baker, who is being charged with capital murder for the shooting death of 39-year-old William Woods.
Baker received further bonds on other felony charges such as a $2 million bond for the murder of Sha’Maya Anderson, who was killed on January 4, six separate $1 million bonds for armed robbery of a business, and three charges of armed carjacking. Baker was also given a $50,000 bond for auto burglary.
The 15-year-old was reportedly involved with two others in a crime spree that included robberies of two fast-food restaurants and several Dollar General locations in the Jackson area.
Jackson Municipal Court Judge Jeff Reynolds stated that Baker was “one of the most dangerous defendants” he’s encountered in his five years of service in the court.
20-year-old Tyrese Hodges was given six $1 million bonds for armed robbery of a business charges, two armed carjacking charges, and a $50,000 charge for being in possession of a stolen firearm.
