The first Tesla dealership in Mississippi is set to finally be complete as the multi-million dollar company will be holding a grand opening event at the end of July.
Plans for the new dealership first began circulating in May following a press release from local developer RCI Investments and Trihelm Properties.
At the start of 2022, the two companies had partnered together to find a tenant for the property located at 255 Mar Lyn Drive in Brandon, saying that Tesla was a long shot.
“We were kind of pot-shotting stuff, wondering who is the best tenant you could get in here. When Telsa was mentioned, there was a chuckle,” Trihelm Properties co-owner Adam Savage told The Clarion-Ledger. “I found someone online and sent them an email. The next thing I know they are flying out here to look at the property.”
Now, the 25,000-square-foot facility has finished construction and plans to hold its grand opening ceremony on July 30 at 9:30 a.m.
