Central Mississippi–
Sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 90s, with heat index readings from 105-110.
Southern Mississippi–
Sunny with a slight chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. The high will be 100 to 101, with heat index readings from 107-112. Clear tonight with lows in the mid to upper 70s.
