CLARKSDALE, MISS– Eliis Pittman was shot in his office while taking down notes with a fellow attorney about a lawsuit he was filing against Ricardo Frazier, the man who turned himself in for pulling the trigger.
Pittman was suing Frazier over work that he had done on his home. The two were in the deposition phase of talks with Clarksdale Mayor Bill Luckett, who is also a lawyer and representing Frazier, when Frazier snapped and shot Pittman, reports WREG.
Pittman was flown to a Memphis hospital where he died. Frazier turned himself in for the shooting without any incident.
