CLINTON, Miss.- C Spire’s new one gigabit Fiber-to-the-Home initiative has stretched to four cities in Mississippi, with Clinton being the latest to jump on board. They gathered at the home of Connie Chrietzberg in Clinton on Friday to celebrate the activation of her service.
Connie’s home is the third in Clinton to receive the service. She’s a photographer, and the faster internet has helped her business tremendously.
“It has been instrumental to my business,” Chrietzberg said. “For weddings, I’ll upload online galleries for our brides so they can go on, and share with their families and friends.”
She said that uploading mass amounts of photos used to take her hours, but now with this C Spire Fiber, it took her 45 minutes.
Bill and Marilyn Hetrick were instrumental in bring C Spire Fiber to the Clinton community. Bill is on the board of directors of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce.
“I think the day will come where you’re not going to be able to sell a house if you don’t have Fiber high-speed internet,” Bill said.
