INDIANOLA, MISS– The final funeral arrangements have been made for B.B. King, and his resting place is where he got his start.
After a final tour of Beale Street in Memphis, B.B. King will be brought back to his hometown of Indianola. King will finally be laid to rest not far from where the musician got his humble start picking cotton.
A public viewing will be held at the B.B. King Museum in Indianola May 29 from 10am until 5pm. The public is also invited to pay their respects at Bell Grove M.B. Church May 30 from 11am-3pm. At 4pm, family and friends will follow processional back to the museum for a private graveside service, finally laying King to rest.
